The crane lifting hand signal
The crane operator ,commander and auxiliary worker need to cooperate in the process of lifting work. The cooperation of crane operator and commander is very important in it. It will be easy to cause accident if neglected. The efficient conduction of commander is closely relate to the progress of lifting construction.The recognition of hand signal is the same important to crane operator. It will impact the progress of construction, even cause safe accident and goods damaged if they don’t have a good cooperation.
Crane lifting command terms
The normal hand signal means the command gestures are used in the lifting progress of all kinds of cranes. The specialized hand signal means the command gestures are only used in the crane of special lifting,luffing, swing mechanism. Hook(ring, electromagnetic chuck, grab and so on)mean loaded hook or unloaded hook. Crane running mean the crane run to the commander. Crane back mean that the crane leave from commander. Left, right,forward and back are based on the position of driver.The command signal is consist of hand signal, flag signal and acoustic signal.
1.Preparation
Place the straight arms over the head, separate the fingers and keep palm forward.
2.To the main hook
Clench your fist with one hand, place over the head and touch the head slightly.
3.To the auxiliary hook
Clench your fist with one hand and keep forearm up. Reach out the other hand and touch elbow joint of the first hand.
4.Hook rising
Stretch the forearm to the high side. Outstretched five fingers are higher than shoulders, which rotate by wrist as axle.
5.Hook descending
Stretch the arm forequarter down with the body angle of about 30°.
Separated five fingers rotate by wrist as axle.
6.Hook slight rising
Stretch the arm forequarter up with the palm facing up.The palm is higher than shoulder by wrist as axle, and wave the palm up repetitively.
7.Hook horizontal moving
Stretch the arm up with five closed fingers and palm outward. Wave to downward to the direction of loaded running and keep the same level with shoulder.
8.Hook slight descending
Stretch the arm forequarter downward with about 30°angle of the body.
Wave the palm down repetitively and keep palm down.
9.Hook horizontal moving
Stretch the forearm up with five closed fingers and palm outward. Wave to downward to the direction of loaded running and do slow horizontal motion repetitively.
10.Instruct the descending position
Instruct the loaded descending position with five straight fingers.
11.Rising arm
Stretch arm horizontally to one side. Other fingers are closed with thumb up. At the same time, wave forearm up .
12.Descending arm
Stretch arm horizontally to one side. Other fingers are closed with thumb down. At the same time, wave forearm down .
13.Slight rising arm
Place one forearm on the side of chest, stretch fingers with palm down and keep still.
The thumb of the other hand move up and down to the first palm with other closed fingers.
14.Slight descending arm
Place one forearm on the side of chest, stretch fingers with palm up and keep still.
The thumb of the other hand move up and down to the first hand palm with other closed fingers.
15.Stop
Place forearms on the chest horizontally,stretch fingers with palm down and wave to one side horizontally.
16.emergency stop
Place two forearms on the chest horizontally,stretch fingers with palm down and wave to two sides horizontally at the same time.
17.finish work
Cross and open fingers in the forehead.
